Meet the Staff

Dr. Matthew Lim is an Optometrist in Innisfil providing complete eye care services for the surrounding communities.

Dr. Matthew Lim is a graduate of the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He is board certified by the Canadian Examiners in Optometry, and the use of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPA) in Canada. He is also accredited by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO), as well as the Treatment and Management of Ocular Diseases (TMOD) in the United States.

Dr. Lim completed externships with honours at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, the Newington Connecticut Veterans Administration Hospital, and the Ophthalmology Associates of Philadelphia. Dr. Lim is a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists, and the Alberta and Ontario Association of Optometrists. He has provided eye care services to residents of Haiti, Mexcico and Peru as a head optometrist in the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) group.

Dr. Lim has been working in the New Tecumseth and Barrie area since 2010, and has worked closely with area family physicians and eye surgeons.

As a licensed optometrist, Dr. Lim provides exams, diagnoses, and treatments of all disorders that affect the eye or vision. In addition to training in eye diseases and disorders, Dr. Lim is also trained in anatomy, biochemistry, and physiology. With this background, Dr. LIm is trained to recognize a range of health issues; such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes and hypertension.

Dr. LIm works hard to stay current on the latest advances in eye health and vision care and regularly attends continuing education seminars and advanced training courses. It is because of Dr. Lim's dedication to continuing education that our Innisfil patients receive the most modern and progressive vision care available.

Kim is the owner of Stroud Optical and a licenced optician. She graduated with honours in her field, and has been with Stroud Optical since it's opening in 1992.

Kathy has been a licensed optician since 2006. She has been with Stroud Optical for 3 years and loves to help our customers see and look amazing!
